The Bushfire CRC has signed a formal agreement to work in
collaboration with the CRC for Spatial Information. This move,
marked with an official event at the May 2005 CRC Association
Conference, allows the two research centres to develop new
applications for shared knowledge.
The formal MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) was welcomed by the
CRCA Chairman, The Hon Tony Staley. “It is great to see such
collaboration develop between CRCs and we wish both centres the
very best in their work together.” The MoU was signed by the
chief executives of both CRCs: Kevin O'Loughlin from Bushfire and
Peter Woodgate from Spatial Information.
