Effects of fire on soil C fractions in eucalypt of south-eastern Australia

Hari Ram Shrestha’s PhD research at the University of Melbourne explored the effects of long-term, repeated prescribed fire on litter and soil carbon and nitrogen in a mixed eucalypt forest. His work sought to understand the impact of repeated prescribed fire on litter and soil and nutrient cycling for sustainable management of Australian native forests.
