Mahilini Ponnampalam
About
Mahilini Ponnampalam is a Research Services Project Officer based at the Melbourne Node research office, where she supports the delivery of the Centre's research programs and activities.
She has more than 20 years of experience in the research division of the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA), with an extensive background in plant biotechnology research. Throughout her career, she has supported multidisciplinary research programs, coordinated complex projects and contributed to research governance and collaborative partnerships.
Ms Ponnampalam is passionate about supporting high-quality research, fostering strong collaborations and contributing to the Centre's mission of building more resilient communities through evidence-based research.
