The commencement of Catherine O’Donovan as Legal Counsel in the research services team strengthens Natural Hazards Research Australia’s (the Centre) research management capacity.
Catherine has worked in senior management and legal roles within the university sector for over 20 years, delivering strategic, complex and high value projects which has given her valuable experience and understanding of Australia’s research and university landscapes. She has also previously worked in corporate in-house roles and private practice.
The Legal Counsel role supports ongoing contracting with research partners, ensuring the highest quality partnerships and collaborative research outcomes. Catherine is based in our Brisbane node office.
