104 core research projects, 300+ researchers, $34+ million funded – demonstrating impact.
Established in 2021 and stewards of more than 20 years of research outputs, Natural Hazards Research Australia (the Centre) is proud to share the newest addition to our website, Our Impact.
This section highlights the ways in which Centre research is being translated into real-world outcomes. Sections include Our impact, Stories of Impact, Policy submissions, Progress reports, Tools for impact and Centre Awards.
Our impact and Stories of Impact are a collection of 15 stories created from interviews with end-user perspectives, clearly communicating the uptake and use of the research and the tangible benefits achieved through collaboration, co-design and applied research.
Collectively, these sections and stories show how our research investment is informing policy, improving operational decision-making, strengthening community preparedness and resilience, and supporting end-users across emergency management, planning, infrastructure and recovery.
The Tools for impact section is a collection of groundbreaking tools developed during the Centre’s previous iterations, providing a home for useful, useable and used resources.
Stay tuned for more stories, submissions, awards and progress reports.
