Peyman is a Ph.D. candidate in the School of Project Management at the Faculty of Engineering, the University of Sydney. His research interests include the resilience of the housing market and the climate crisis. Currently, his research projects focus on the social outcomes of the housing market under climate change and community risk assessments within the context of climate change. His previous work has focused on the operation and coordination of agencies in post-disaster scenarios and mitigation strategies before a disaster, which have been published in journals such as Reliability Engineering & System Safety and the International Journal of Disaster Risk Reduction. Peyman has reviewed over 30 papers for peer-reviewed journals, including the International Journal of Project Management (IJPM), the Journal of Management in Engineering (JME), and the Journal of Construction Engineering and Management (JCEM). Additionally, he has experience teaching a course on risk management at the University of Sydney.
