Dr Michael Carroll is the Principal Program Officer – Research and Innovation within the Strategic Intelligence and Planning Branch of Queensland Fire and Emergency Services. He has a background in cognitive psychology and research management within the academic and public sectors. Primary interests are in understanding how thought and perception influence behaviour and decision making, and how this applies to real-world scenarios/settings.
