Make your mark: New Internship Program positions open

Natural Hazards Research Australia (the Centre) is offering internship opportunities in three fields that are designed to improve Australia’s fire resilience and firefighting capability.

The positions are designed to turn academic knowledge into real-world impact and combine education with work placements.

Objectives for interns include capability development through hands-on experience and exposure to applying research methods and approaches to address real-world scenarios and business challenges; to strengthen connections with others in the natural hazards sector and build longer-term partnerships; to share knowledge  and innovative approaches to addressing natural hazards, resilience and disaster risk reduction; and to contribute meaningful outputs and practical impact to address the host organisation's knowledge needs.
