Dr. Richard Carter-White is a Senior Lecturer of Human Geography in the School of Communication, Society and Culture at Macquarie University. He is a cultural and political geographer with expertise in qualitative methodologies, and his research interests include the history and geography of sites of displacement and containment, most notably camps, and post-disaster communities and landscapes.
