Dr Wendy Pham is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at The University of Queensland's Business School. Her current research integrates disaster management, risk mitigation, and insurance risk pooling against the increasing challenges posed by climate risks, with a strong focus on resilience and capability building for individuals, communities, and businesses. Wendy holds a joint PhD from the University of Queensland (Australia) and the University of Exeter (UK), where her doctoral research examined the disaster management practices of tourism-hospitality SMEs and the role of social networks in building organisational resilience. Wendy has collaborated on various consulting projects for government and industry partners, contributing to policy-relevant insights and practical strategies for disaster preparedness and sustainable development.
